Remember, if you choose the "Letter from a Birmingham Jail," and you also choose to use the original letter from the eight clergymen in your research paper, you will still need two additional sources to support the potential answers to your questions. You will also need to read and inquire into the full letter under Unit VI, rather than using the truncated Unit III essay. Post due before class on Wednesday, April 9th.

I have chosen Dr. MLK "Letter from a Birmingham Jail" as a possible research paper.

Question #2. Where was the support of the hundreds of black ministers that resided in Birmingham.
Question #3. Dr. King was the President of 85 organizations across the south. Other than his staff that came in from Atlanta Georgia with him, where were the rest of his affiliates?
These questions are vague and tentative, however, they may play a big part in my research paper.

What was the reaction of the eight white clergymen after they read the letter?
Would the outcome have been the same if Martin Luther king had not attended the demonstration in Birmingham?
I have not read the paper I chose to use so my question are sort of basic. I chose to do my paper on, "Beyond Traditional Notions of Identity."

3. If they are - are they supported by fact(research studies etc.) or by personnel experience ?
4. Can I research the authors facts/findings etc?

2. Did any of the clergymen actually support Dr. King?
3. Why weren't the other cities around Birmingham mentioned? I know injustice was brewing in other places just like Birmingham.
